Warriors suffer brutal blow with injury prone half
Luke Metcalf's horrible run with injuries has continued after he had to be assisted out of the ground following Tyson Frizell's tackle.
Warriors five-eighth Luke Metcalf has suffered another injury blow after he was assisted off the field early against the Knights.
The half appeared to suffer a leg problem in an innocuous tackle from Tyson Frizell and stayed down on the ground for a significant period of time.
"It's an impact injury, I think it's Tyson's shoulder, there's no twisting," NRL Immortal Andrew Johns said on Nine's coverage.

Metcalf then had to be assisted off the field with Chanel Harris-Tavita replacing him.
The speedy half was later pictured in a cart at the ground with reports of a suspected fracture in his leg.
The latest injury setback for Metcalf continues his troubled history having suffered a torn hamstring in round 26 last year that ruled him out for finals.
It wasn't the first time he's had hamstring troubles while he also injured his ACL coming through the lower grades.
"It's unfortunate for Luke, the positive is Chanel Harris-Tavita plays in that six jersey," Billy Slater said at half-time.
"That's his most comfortable position, that's a clean swap although Luke brings a lot more speed, he's a really dynamic runner of the football so it takes a bit of that threat away but in terms of Chanel, he's been waiting for this opportunity and now he gets it."

Despite the big blow, the Warriors rallied to be leading 12-0 after 18 minutes with tries to Jackson Ford and Harris-Tavita.
Frizell put Newcastle back in the contest with five minutes to go in the first half as the Warriors led 12-6 at the break.
The Warriors started strong in the second half when Marcelo Montoya crossed in the 43rd minute.
No more points would be scored until the 71st minute when Shaun Johnson kicked a penalty goal.
The Knights made it interesting two minutes later when Bradman Best scored but it was too little too late with the Warriors winning 20-12.
Post-match, Warriors fullback Roger Tuivasa-Sheck described the loss of Metcalf as "massive" for the side.
"(Metcalf) is a big part of our team and our plans going forward," he told Nine's coverage.
"But we've got great depth, Chanel what a beast coming off the bench, we'll look back and see what happens from there."
