Security guard stabbed outside Woolworths

A man, believed to be a security guard, has been stabbed outside a Melbourne supermarket overnight.
The altercation broke out between the man and two other men just before 7pm outside a Woolworths on Main Road East in St Albans.
It's understood that the man was stabbed before two offenders ran from the scene.

Police are still trying to track them down.
The security guard was taken to hospital for treatment.
His condition is unknown.
