Two drive-by shootings in western Sydney within one hour
Police have ruled out a link between two shootings in western Sydney overnight that happened just 50 minutes apart.
A man was shot in the legs in a drive-by attack while walking along O'Connor Street at Guildford at around 11pm last night.
Police found him in a driveway and provided first aid treatment before paramedics arrived and took him to hospital in a stable condition.

Officers learned he had been shot by gunmen firing from a dark-coloured hatchback, with bullets striking him in the right calf and left foot, before the vehicle speeded away.
Then at 11.50pm, shots were fired into a home at nearby O'Neill Street in Guildford, from a dark grey Hyundai i30 before it drove off.
Three bullets hit a window in the property but the occupants were not injured.
Police set up crime scenes at both locations, but this morning said there was no confirmed link between the two incident, and the two caers involved.
Officers later found two burned-out cars in the driveway homes of Greenacre in western Sydney, which are being treated as suspicious.
"At this time, no links between have been established between the fires, and no links have been identified between these fires and two separate shootings which occurred in Guildford earlier in the night," a police statement said.
Anyone with information into either incident or dashcam footage is urged to call Cumberland police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
