Man, 93, killed in collision with garbage truck in South Australia

A 93-year-old man driving an SUV has died after a collision with a garbage truck.
The accident happened on Saturday morning.
The Ford SUV and the truck collided at 11am on Victor Harbor Road and Hindmarsh Tiers Road in Hindmarsh Valley, south of Adelaide.

The 93-year-old from nearby Myponga died at the scene
The driver of the truck, a 51-year-old man from Hindmarsh Island, was uninjured.
Police are investigating.
The man's death is the 47th life lost on South Australian roads this year, police say.
