Parents Beware: Social-Emotional Learning Is Code For Critical Race Theory
When parents send their children off to school, they have a lot on their plate. For six hours every day over ten months out of the year (sometimes longer), moms and dads cede control over to teachers who are teaching lessons shaped by recent controversies. Some lessons were reported by parents and teachers that children were being taught CRT (Critical Race Theory) Educators have been exposed for teaching and promoting social justice & equity propaganda. Parents took their concerns about these lessons to their local school boards and were lied to or worse arrested.
“Every child in America entering the school at the age of five is insane because he comes to school with certain allegiances to the Founding Fathers, towards his parents, towards our elected officials, toward a belief in a supernatural being, and the sovereignty of this nation as a separate entity. It’s up to you, teachers, to make all these sick children well by creating the international child of the future.” Professor Charles Pearce of the Department of Educational Psychiatry at Harvard, speaking in 1973 to 2,000 teachers attending the Child International Education Seminar in Denver, Colorado (Excerpt from Cry Havoc, by Ralph de Toledano – 2006).
If you’re against Critical Race Theory, you might want to educate yourself about social-emotional learning. SEL is the delivery mechanism for critical race theory, and it’s being pushed in schools across the country. Here’s why you should be concerned.
WHAT IS SOCIAL-EMOTIONAL LEARNING?
When parents send their children off to school, they have a lot on their plate. For six hours every day over ten months out of the year (sometimes longer), moms and dads cede control over to teachers who are teaching lessons shaped by recent controversies. Some lessons were reported by parents and teachers that children were being taught CRT (Critical Race Theory) Educators have been exposed for teaching and promoting social justice & equity propaganda. Parents took their concerns about these lessons to their local school boards and were lied to or worse arrested.
What if I were to tell you that there is in fact, a shared delivery system for these concepts? One less famous than CRT and more prevalent too. It’s called Social Emotional Learning (SEL).
SEL: The Tool Of Delivery For The Critical Pedagogy Behind Critical Race Theory
We all know the Left is constantly trying to take over our society, but what many people don’t realize are their goals for education. They want a country full of brainwashed individuals who will blindly follow them and do anything they say without question or complain about any hardships put upon us as well. It is crucial for parents and teachers alike to be aware of the left-wing Critical Pedagogy to stop it from causing any more damage. We all know the Left is constantly trying to take over our society, but what many people don’t realize are their goals for education.
Paulo Freire, the man who developed critical pedagogy in the 1980s and 1990s was also rooted deep within neo-Marxist thought. Although progress has been made to ban CRT altogether it still exists today with its unique tenants that can be identified through cultural Marxism more broadly speaking; other forms of this movement such as social justice warriors (SJW) have rebranded CRT as Social Emotional Learning and are using SEL as their weaponized delivery mechanism for change – expect that these individuals’ demands/pleasure-seeking behaviors patterns etc., will only worsen over time if no action is taken against them.
CRT is a type of educational intervention that is been used in schools without parents’ knowledge or consent. It’s difficult to pinpoint when this practice first began, but it was most likely introduced during the 1960s and 70s–a period where many new instructional techniques were coming out as well! The underlying pedagogical framework behind CRTs allowed them to spread Marxist propaganda unnoticed by parents for years until now.
The purging of CRT from our classrooms should be a priority, but it won’t stop there. SEL is also used for delivering radicalized propaganda that comes straight out of the underlying critical pedagogy framework; every time we educate enough people about this threat and build up momentum for fighting back using resources like funds or manpower–they’ll just reformulate their strategy by focusing on new delivery systems instead.
Schools are generally not teaching what critical race theory is but rather exposing them to the practice of CRT. Teaching and psychologically manipulating these kids into agreeing on concepts laid out in SEL theory through SEL system pedagogy.
Implications of Social Emotional Learning
SEL is an approach to education that focuses on the needs of students. This “culturally responsive” framework views K-12 as a launching pad for social change, encouraging them and their teachers alike towards activism by focusing heavily in areas such as math or English while neglecting other crucial skills needed today like science comprehension–which could lead us down problematic paths should they not be aware.
SEL or the Common Core curriculum in America is an attempt at micro-managed schooling. This framework uses a culturally responsive approach which has been coined by critical race theorist Gloria Ladson Billings and her colleagues to harness young people’s “natural sense of beauty” for Western society while preparing them against future roles as citizens or consumers within its ever-changing economic landscape; however, this leads students into manipulation.
The country is awakening to the dangers of CRT and other woke ideologues, but reformers must recognize SEL’s role in their delivery. Otherwise, these “essential” ideas will create a generation of full-grown adults who believe that America is systemically inequitable. So, what can we do to stop this movement? Well, it’s going to take a concerted effort from conservatives and libertarians alike. We need to be vocal in our opposition to CRT and SEL, and make sure our elected officials know that these programs have no place in our schools. Join me in the fight against CRT and SEL; together, we can stop the Left from taking over our education system. Are you with me?
