Man pulls gun on employee in armed robbery west of Brisbane

CCTV has been released showing the moment a man pulled a gun on an employee at a business in Ipswich, west of Brisbane, last year.

The man, wearing a hi-viz jacket zipped up over his mouth, walked into the business on Redbank Plains Road at 11.30am on Friday November 14 and pulled a large gun from a black Adidas bag.

He threatened the employee behind the counter, who complied before he fled with cash and other items.

Police say the men fled along Redbank Plains Road on foot and was seen not long after riding a pushbike on Jones Road in Bellbird Park.

He is yet to be apprehended.

Anyone with information, CCTV or dashcam video is urged to come forward to police.
