Man found dead in yard on Queensland coast
Police were called to the Dolphin Heads property for a welfare check yesterday afternoon.

An investigation is under way after a man was found dead in Mackay, Queensland, yesterday.
Police were called to an address in Ian Wood Drive in Dolphin Heads at about 3.12pm following a welfare check request.
They found a 56-year-old man non-responsive in the yard of the property.

He was declared dead at the scene.
Police are now investigating the circumstances of his death.
