Man dead, gunman on the run after Logan shooting

A man has died and his attacker is on the run after a shooting south of Brisbane this morning.
Police were called to a home on Rowanda Street in Slacks Creek, Logan, just after 1.14am to reports of gunfire.
They found a wounded 41-year-old Slacks Creek man who was taken to hospital in a critical condition.

He was later declared dead.
Police have swarmed the street looking for the shooter, who has not been found.
However, police said initial investigations indicate this was a targeted attack and there is no ongoing threat to the public.
