Man charged with torture of seven-week-old baby in Brisbane
The little boy was unresponsive when he presented at hospital in March.
A Brisbane man has been charged with torture after a seven-week-old baby was taken to hospital earlier this year.
On March 5, the boy was presented at Queensland Children's Hospital while unresponsive.
It will be alleged that medical examinations at the time revealed the baby had suffered extensive injuries, "consistent with prolonged and repeated physical abuse".

The child was removed from the care of a 27-year-old man and a 26-year-old woman.
A 27-year-old Forest Lake man has been charged with three counts of assault causing bodily harm, and one count of torture.
He was refused bail and will appear in court today.
