Homicide investigation after Brisbane woman found with critical injuries
The 47-year-old woman had sustained critical injuries and was declared dead at the scene.

A homicide investigation has been launched after the death of a woman in Brisbane's northern suburbs.
Emergency services were called to an address on Ospray Place in Taigum at 12.30am after a woman was found unresponsive.

Following investigations, police visited a home on Hackman Street in McDowall at 1.10am and located a 52-year-old man.
He is currently assisting police with their inquiries.
Two crime scenes have been established at Taigum and McDowall.
Police are urging anyone who witnessed anything suspicious to report it to police.
