Why It Has To Be Trump In 2024

Trump never said that there were good white supremacists at Charlottesville, a fact that even Jake Tapper, who is not fond of Trump, acknowledges. Trump never asked the Georgia Secretary of State to fabricate votes for him in the 2020 election.  Trump made clear in that phone call that he only wanted the Georgia Secretary of State to find the legal votes that he believed were out there, etc.

Why It Has To Be Trump In 2024

“Listen, I’m a politician, which means I’m a cheat and a liar, and when I’m not kissing babies, I’m stealing their lollipops. But it also means I keep my options open.”   Richard Jordan (Jeffrey Pelt): The Hunt for Red October (1990)

In a July 5, 2022 video, Dick Morris argues that the Republican presidential nominee in 2024 has to be Donald Trump because only Trump can guarantee the defeat of the Democrats.

Morris gives 4 main reasons for this.  The first is that Trump is the only one who can say, “I did it.  I gave you a great economy, gas was under 3 dollars, Russia was kind of tame, crime in the cities had not exploded and … I can do it again.”  The second is that Trump has demonstrated an ability to reach out to blue collar voters like no one else can (“Trump … mobilize[d] 36% of the country that the political establishment had ignored).

The third is that Trump was successful in getting the Latino vote by talking about patriotism, nationalism and by pointing out that most of their ancestors had fled countries that had gone down the same road the Democrat Party is taking the United States.  The fourth is that Trump, not being a politician centered in Washington D.C., is immune to Potomac fever, the disease that so many Republicans catch that turns them into liberals. The whole Republican establishment, including Chief Justice Roberts caught it, the Bush’s caught it, Cheney and his daughter caught it, and a lot of the Senate and many others caught it. One might also mention McCain, Romney and McConnell.

The fact that Trump has shown himself to be immune to Potomac fever is the reason why members of both parties have concocted one scheme after another to get rid of him from the day he and Melanie came down the escalator, dishonest schemes that continue to the present day, including the Jan. 6th kangaroo court with, for example, all the choreographed (by an ABC “news” producer) hyperventilating over what appears to be fabricated hearsay testimony by a disgruntled former staffer.

In brief, Trump’s singular virtue is that he is not a politician. That is why he ran in 2016, not to get reelected to the D.C. “gravy train” in perpetuity, with all the perks that involves, but actually, as a real businessman must, to solve problems.  Unfortunately, for Trump and for the country, too many powerful people in D.C. with vested interests and well-heeled donors, profit by leaving things pretty much as they are.  These people in both parties continue to be threatened by Trump’s delightful proclivity for overturning the money tables in the temple.

It is, therefore, no surprise that the Democrat-media complex kept up constant attacks on Trump for what he said, often his tweets, thereby displaying that, like elementary school English teachers, what they value most are words rather than real-world results.  Until Covid hit out of the blue, which no one could have handled (although Biden and lots of Democrat-media gassers pretended they could), Trump gave the country a great economy, low inflation, low gas prices, low crime, a secure southern border and no new foreign wars.

Biden was installed in office by the D.C. Establishment because of his promise to “shut down the virus, not the country”, whereupon he proceeded to do the opposite and shut down the country while the virus exploded across the land because his promises were, unsurprisingly, more D.C. gassing by someone who, after 50 years comfortably ensconced in the lucrative D.C. swamp, literally has no idea whatsoever what to do about anything in the real world.

To be fair, Trump does not express himself like a Princeton professor of English Literature.  He expresses himself like a roll-up-one’s-sleeves-and-get-things-done-rough-and-tumble Bronx businessman, a fact that the D.C. establishment in both parties, with their own set of prejudices against people who actually work for a living and talk like they work for a living, exploits in order to retain their power, the only thing that is really of any importance to them.

In fact, however, Trump never said many of the things the Democrat-media complex accuse him of saying.  Trump never called all Mexicans rapists and drug traffickers.  He only said the small subset Mexico is “sending” are rapists and drug traffickers.  He never said that he grabs women by the p***y.  What he actually said is that “stars” (celebrities) do that, not that he does it.  He never said one can cure the Coronavirus by injecting bleach.  What he actually did was ask some doctors whether injecting disinfectants could be used to treat the Coronavirus, questions that are justified since there has been a great deal of medical research, beginning at least as far back as 1944 and some recent positive results, using this strategy.

The Democrat-media colluders aided by swamp “Republicans” fabricated most of these storylines in service of their own personal agendas and did enormous damage to the country by doing so.

The professional gassers so useful to the Democrat-media complex include former communist voter and liar under oath about Trump appointed, of course, by Obama to head the CIA, anti-Trumper John Brennan, former Director of National Intelligence liar to congress under oath anti-Trumper James Clapper, former FBI director liar about the Steele dossier who also violated FBI policy anti-Trumper James Comey, former Deputy Director of the FBI and liar to the FBI anti-Trumper Andrew McCabe, and convicted Watergate felon disbarred lawyer (obstruction of justice and payment of “hush” money) author of Blind Ambition, the story of his and Nixon’s blind ambition, anti-Trumper John Dean.

Dean, whose stubborn blind ambition to be popular with powerful people, with all the perks that entails, recently usefully claimed that Trump is “incapable of accomplishing anything.”  Dean’s responses under oath to questioning by Rep. Jim Jordan tells one everything one needs to know about these professional D.C. gassers who suddenly, when put under oath, start singing a different tune.  Jordan asked if Dean was thinking about the fact that Trump produced 3.2% economic growth, the lowest unemployment in 50 years, the hostages returned from North Korea, and the US embassy moved to Jerusalem, when he said Trump could not accomplish anything, to which Democrat-media darling felon Dean responded that “under the parliamentary rules of the House I am refraining from giving a full answer to your question” – eliciting derisive laughter from the assembly.

It would be most enlightening if one could put all of the professional gassers booked on the “news” media’s revolving chair of hand-picked “experts” from the D.C. swamp under oath because one can always use a cathartic derisive laugh.  When one really sees the characters of the D.C. swamp creatures opposed to Trump one understands what is really going on … and why Morris is right that it has to be Trump in 2024.
