Kick-off for the 2024 NRL grand final between the Melbourne Storm and Penrith Panthers is scheduled for 7.30pm (AEDT).

Sydney's Accor Stadium will once again host the showpiece event on Sunday, October 6 with over 83,000 fans expected to pack the stands.

The Panthers progressed to the big dance following a commanding 26-6 win over the Sharks in the preliminary final. Melbourne were just as dominant, defeating the Roosters 48-18.

The 2024 edition is a rematch from 2020's grand final.

That year was the last time the Panthers have lost a grand final with the Storm winning 26-20.

From there, Penrith managed to pull off a three-peat, defeating the Rabbitohs, Eels and Broncos.
