Watch: Failing NYC Mayor Can Only Make Ridiculous Accusations Instead Of Answering Questions
Here we go again. Newly-sworn-in mayor Eric Adams of New York City has taken the tried-and-true playbook from Barack Obama, Kamala Harris, Cori Bush, and seemingly every other black Democrat lawmaker by deflecting from objectively abject policy failures by blaming white journalists for simply misrepresenting his achievements.
The pathetic accusation of racism came amidst questioning from reporters about Adams’ failed attempt to convince the Democrat-led New York Assembly to get behind his anti-crime platform. Instead of acknowledging his party is full of idiots and losers with no intent on making life better for constituents, Adams deflected from the issue and made it immediately about his race. He went on a long rant:
“I’m a black man that’s the mayor but my story is being interpreted by people that don’t look like me. How many blacks are on editorial boards? How many blacks determine how these stories are being written? How many Asians? How many East Asians? How many South Asians? Everyone talks about my government being diversified, what’s the diversification in the newsrooms?”
Nothing needs to be said other than that leftism is a severe mental illness. White reporters can’t tell the “correct” story because the subject of that reporting has different melanin? I don’t even know what that means.
As pathetic as Adams is for suggesting his race has anything to do with the negative portrayal of his inchoate administration, equally pathetic is the acceptance of divisive and toxic rhetoric. Will reporters push back? Will he be made to apologize? Will anyone hold him accountable? It’s unlikely any of that will happen.
It’s the same nonsense that Obama most infamously utilized to his advantage. The first black president had the opportunity to finally put to rest the notion that skin color had any effect o n one’s ability to achieve greatness in this country, and instead he set us down the path of racial disunion and disintegration. Who could forget his derisive“bitter clingers” comment?
“And it’s not surprising then they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy toward people who aren’t like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations”
In Obama’s case, the corporate media actively shilled for him, helping accuse any and all detractors as racist as well.
The same disingenuous and harmful nonsense can be said of Kamala Harris. She came right out and basically said coverage of her would be better if she were white and male.
Again, the media is shiulling just as hard for her as Obama. In a softball interview with MSNBC, the interviewer came right out and plantrd the seed: “Is the fact that you’re a woman, and the fact that you’re a minority…part of why there is such scrutiny?” She smartly evaded the question, but she didn’t have to answer. The media planted the seed regardless.
For the record, being black also doesn’t make you a target. Being a terrible mayor with terrible ideas does. Does he not realize that the very doughy, pasty, and white Bill De Blasio had Bidenesque poll numbers in his last term? Most people simply hate incompetence, not race. This is true of Obama, Harris, and New York Mayor Eric Adams.
When Adams is recalled or voted out, it will have nothing to do with his race, especially considering the majority of New York is not white to begin with.
Only one thing is true: Adams set himself up to fail because he rode the crime wave that was created by his fellow Democrats in the first place. His stance on punishing criminals played well for naive New York voters, who still thought a Democrat would deliver something new. But that’s just silly. Here’s a helpful hint for future voters: If there is a (D) behind someone’s name, they’re all the same. Does anyone really think Adams will do anything differently than De Blasio?
What else can you say: The human race is full of stupid people. Now we know that we can put Adams near the top of the list.
Here is Adams looking and sounding like a fool:
