EV Cars Demand Rose to the Highest in Philippines - Beulah

The flagship EV-Vehicle of Tojo Motors is Mandarangit Model It has a unique variable chassis that enables drivers to choose between two modes with cruising -mode for speeds up to 90km/h and maneuver-mode, at speeds of 25km/h to nip through traffic and park like a jeepney. The vehicle uses innovative digital control and replaceable batteries alleviating problems for public charging station infrastructure. Its spacious enclosed cabin fulfills user requirements for safety systems as well as comfort features and air conditioning. Tojo vehicles are designed to ease pressure on existing busy transport infrastructure to meet the needs of smart cities and towns throughout the country. With a view to commercialization until 2025, Ralph Legaspi who is the founder and chairman of Tojo Motors is already in discussion with major players from across the industry looking for ways to cooperate. Tojo’s development comes as the support for zero-emission vehicles continues to grow. According to Legaspi, by 2030, 80% of passenger cars in the Philippines will be powered electrically, and, by 2040, almost all cars are already powered by electric cars.Urban transport experts predict that over the next decade, users of car-sharing systems may increase several times to over a million people, and vehicle fleets to over four times, compared to today’s thousands. Philippine EV drivers don’t need to work long hours to meet their boundaries. They can receive their monthly salaries to support their families. And, even a housing provision is implemented which is a significant step towards improving the quality of life for the employees.
