Selena Gomez's Alex Russo Has Brother Mentor Young Wizard in Wizards Beyond Waverly Place Trailer
Disney dropped the first official trailer for the "Wizards of Waverly Place" sequel series, "Wizards Beyond Waverly Place," with Selena Gomez and David Henrie reprising their roles as Alex and Justin Russo. Per Disney, the series "follows an adult Justin Russo, who has chosen to lead a normal, mortal life with his family, Giada, Roman and Milo. When Justin's sister Alex brings Billie to his home seeking help, Justin realizes he must dust off his magical skills to mentor the wizard-in-training while also juggling his everyday responsibilities -- and safeguarding the future of the Wizard World." Gomez will appear as a guest star and also serves as an executive producer. "Wizards Beyond Waverly Place" premieres on Disney Channel with two episodes on October 29. The first nine episodes will be available on Disney+ and Disney Channel On Demand the next day.
