Frankie Camren was riding in Bonner Springs, Kansas, when he saw something that made him stop and pull over.
"Can somebody tell me what is this?" he said in a video on social media.

"I have never seen anything like that in my life.
"That is just weird. I'm not kidding here, this is real."
It was a black ring hovering over a suburban road. But, within moments, it dissipated.
"Tell me that is not freaking weird," Camren said.

FOX Forecast Centre's meteorologists explained the sighting is likely a smoke ring that was the result of an explosion.
They likened it to a mushroom cloud.
A similar black ring was spotted in the sky in Seattle on March 29.
