Murder charge laid after 50-year-old man found dead in Brisbane apartment
Police praised the help of the public during their investigation.
Police have charged a 32-year-old man with murder over the death of another man in Brisbane's inner south on the weekend.
The 50-year-old victim was first found unresponsive with critical injuries in a West End apartment complex about 4.30am on Saturday.
Late yesterday, detectives charged a 32-year-old Fortitude Valley man with one count of murder.

Police say the alleged killer was known to people living at the home.
He is due to appear in court today.
Detective Inspector Wayne Francis said information provided by the community was crucial in the arrest.
"The information led to the arrest after an intensive investigation by detectives, intelligence officers, forensic police and first responders," he said.
