A man has died after falling into a silo at a worksite in Melbourne's east yesterday.
Paramedics were called to Canterbury Road in Montrose around 4.30pm yesterday following fears the man was trapped.
The man, aged in his 50s, died following the incident, police confirmed today.

WorkSafe is investigating the incident.
A high-angle rescue team along with paramedics, police and firefighters were on the scene yesterday.

Images from the 9News helicopter reveal a significant emergency presence was at the scene.
Authorities have not confirmed how the fall occurred.
A report will be prepared for the coroner.
