Man charged with murder after woman fatally stabbed in Sydney unit
A man has been arrested and charged with murder after a woman was stabbed at a unit in Sydney's west yesterday.
A man has been arrested and charged with murder after a woman was stabbed at a unit in Sydney's west yesterday.
Police were called to the unit on Hemphill Avenue, Mount Pritchard about 5pm, to find the 62-year-old woman with stab wounds to her chest.
NSW Ambulance paramedics rushed to treat the woman; however, she died at the scene.

Fairfield police officers arrested a 28-year-old man at the scene.
Police said the man was known to the woman.
The man was charged with murder DV and refused bail. He is due to appear before Fairfield Local Court today
A crime scene has been established at the unit and the State Crime Command's Homicide Squad is helping to investigate the death.
