Disgruntled Dragon Zac Lomax is on the verge of signing a four-year deal with the Eels from next season.
The winger's management and Parramatta officials are finalising the terms on a contract until the end of 2028, expected to be worth $2.6 million.
Lomax was signed with St George Illawarra until the end of 2026 before the club agreed to release the 24-year-old from the final two years of his contract.

The only way Dragons coach Shane Flanagan was going to entertain trading the winger immediately was if his club received what they wanted as part of a player swap.
9News understands the Eels haven't given up hope of luring Lomax to the club this season if they can reach an agreement with the Dragons.
Despite Lomax making it clear he wanted to play at right centre in 2024, the winger has scored four tries in five matches on the wing so far this season.
