Hilarious: Hollywood Legend Denzel Washington SKIPS Biden’s Medal Of Freedom Ceremony

Legendary actor Denzel Washington was one of those chosen by President Biden to receive the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the highest honor that can be awarded to a civilian, on Thursday. Also included was leftist soccer player and America-hater Megan Rapinoe.
While Rapinoe showed up to get a medal that she didn’t deserve, Denzel did not: he did not attend, with his absence being quite noticeable during the awards ceremony. Biden commented on that during the ceremony, saying:
“There’s a man who couldn’t be here today but wanted to be: Denzel Washington, one of our greatest actors in American history. Academy Awards, Golden Globes, Tony Awards, (and) wide acclaim from audiences and peers around the world. He couldn’t be here with us today, but I’ll be giving him this award at a later date when he’s able to get here.”
According to CNN, Denzel didn’t make it because of a positive Covid-19 test result. In that outlet’s words:
Actor Denzel Washington was slated to be honored with the Medal of Freedom, but he did not appear at Thursday’s White House ceremony because of a positive Covid-19 result, according to a White House official.
Breitbart, commenting on the fact that Denzel has won many other awards, noted that: “The star of many popular action and drama films, Washington has won two Academy Awards and two Golden Globes and serves as the spokesman for The Boys and Girls Club.”
Other than Denzel and controversial Olympic athlete Simone Biles, those Biden awarded the medal to on Thursday were mainly his allies on the far left, something that Breitbart commented on, saying:
He awarded a medal to Sister Simone Campbell, a prominent activist who helped Biden promote Obamacare, Khizr Khan, who helped lead the charge against President Donald Trump in the 2016 election, and a posthumous medal to Richard Trumka, a former union boss who supported Biden.
Biden also awarded a medal to soccer player Megan Rapinoe, a vocal critic of Trump who helped promote Biden during the 2020 election.
The president also chose to award two of his former friends in the Senate, including former Sen. Al Simpson and Sen. John McCain (posthumously.)
He also posthumously awarded a medal of freedom to Apple founder Steve Jobs, whose widow Laurene Powell Jobs, a prominent Democrat donor, and philanthropist, accepted on his behalf.
While Biden might have mainly chosen leftist agitators and anti-American hacks to give the medal to, Denzel Washington, though also a Democrat, is something of a different character. He recently gave a speech about civility to the Boys and Girls Club, saying:
“All of you have proven that you need and deserve to be at the table when the issues facing our children must be addressed. Because when essential workers needed essential services for their children, you stepped up to provide those services. Because when many of our communities witnessed and experienced civil unrest, community leaders and law enforcement relied on you, club staff, to bring understanding and civility back to their communities.”
